This bridge was built between 1910 and 1925 and spans the River Roch. It was built by joining up 7 other bridges and it now one of the widest bridges in the world!
The River Roch starts in the hills above Todmorden in West Yorkshire and runs through Rochdale and Bury before meeting the River Irwell near Salford.
Otters have been spotted in the river. This shows that the river has a plentiful supply of fish – the main food source for the otters.
The reduction in the use of pesticides and industrial pollution has led to an increase in the variety of wildlife that live around the river.
